Summer Success
The Summer Fayre was a fantastic event. It was great to see our school bustling with children, families and friends. I was reminded again that the children of Northowram have lovely manners and are a joy to be around. Running one of the stalls this year allowed me to interact with a good number of visitors and it was nice to see smiling faces, even when people didn't win on the various games.
The event made around £1000 which is a massive contribution to PTFA funds and as always the monies raised go into making Northowram an even better place for all our children to learn.
Thank you to everyone who supported the event by attending and spending, donating items or time to make it such a success.
Thank you to the staff from Northowram who assisted at the event and around it to ensure things ran smoothly.
Finally thanks to Zoe and the other PTFA members who co-ordinated a great event and to everyone who volunteered!

Bolton Brow Burner
A massive well done to everyone from our school who took part in the Bolton Brow Burner on Sunday 7th June! Thank you to all those who ran or walked, manned the stall, baked, bought raffle tickets, sponsored children, managed the school running club, assisted with registrations, recorded race timings, shopped for the stall and attending meetings! The help and effort is really appreciated. It's a great event to be part of.
Next year the run will be in Northowram and we hope to make the event a huge community event. We hope to get even more children, parents, friends and families involved so dig out your running shoes. We will be having running clubs to aid even beginners to run!
Stay tuned for more information on how much money was raised.

20th March Update
Well it looks like Spring is here and according to Robin Williams “let’s party!”, and what better way to do this than at the school disco tonight.
School Disco – Friday 20th March
Just a quick reminder of the timings below:
Nursery and Reception 14.15 – 15:25
Years 1 / 2 / 3 – 16:00 – 17:15
Years 4 / 5 / 6 – 17:30 – 18:45
Years 1 – 6 Disco £1 entry fee. There will be glow products, chips, drinks, sweets and a lucky dip for the children to buy.
For those of you who have opted for the ‘Disco Deal’, which includes their entry fee, your children will get their goodies when they arrive at the disco.
At the end of each disco the children will exit from the hall into the nursery playground. We are aware that in the past this has become quite difficult, so in order to improve this we will be letting the children go by their year group and class, with the youngest class first. To ensure this runs smoothly, please can you stand back until your child’s class is called.
We appreciate your co-operation with this.
